TAG HEUER HONORARY CHAIRMAN AMONG CELEBRITY WINNERS NAMED FOR THE GQ 16TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION
Jack Heuer, the man responsible for some of the world’s most famous sports watch and chronograph designs, has been named a 2013 GQ MAN OF THE YEAR.
The announcement was made at GQ’s annual cocktail reception at the Baselworld watch and jewelry fair on Wednesday, April 24 2013.
“Jack Heuer is Honorary Chairman of TAG Heuer, and great grandson of Edouard Heuer, the original founder of TAG Heuer in 1860, “ said Conde Nast Chairman and Chief Executive Jonathan Newhouse in his speech at the reception. “Having joined the firm as a young engineer in 1958, Jack Heuer is now in his 80th year. Heavily involved in research and development throughout his time with the company, Jack Heuer has always been an innovator, having made significant contributions to the watch industry.”
